I found this great article that helps you with the common problem of coming up with blog ideas. It can be a surprisingly daunting task, and doesn’t always come as easily as we might hope. This article lays out some helpful steps and tips for coming up with topics and getting them written.
Something that happens all too often is that you have a great idea, and you get a good blog written and posted, then you realize you could have broken it down into many more other posts that would have kept content coming onto your site for a lot longer. What a shame.
A good way to counter that is whenever an idea strikes you – Stop! Think about it from different angles. How would I format the blog? Who is the target audience? What other related topics could I reference? Just by thinking these questions, new ideas and topics start to come out. A few simple questions already have you ready to write more content.
If you are having trouble with the first step of the whole process, or having the ideas at all, then a good strategy is to look back at your older, successful blogs. What did you talk about? Can you elaborate? What made this post better? You can delve into more than you expect just by looking back onto old posts.
