- Simple short videos are OK
You don’t have to find a video company and spend a lot of money. Don’t be afraid to use your smart phone and make videos as you think of new ideas.
- Get testimonials from customers and clients
Again – bring your smart phone with you when you visit clients and get them to give short testimonials of your work. It doesn’t have to be polished, just honest and real (your video watchers can tell).
- The title of your video is key
Be sure and include important keywords in the title of your video. If you are a local company be sure and include your city or neighborhood as well.
- Learn about embedding
Almost all videos you create can be “embedded” or inserted into your website. YouTube will even give you the code. Look at the links below your video and don’t hesitate to read the YouTube help files.
- Share it on social
Also below your video is a link to that you can copy and use to share on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or elsewhere. These are great ways to get more people to see your message.
Keep your smart phone close at hand and see if you can come up with some simple ways to improve your marketing with YouTube.
