Your Local Strategy for Search is changing again – are you ready with the latest information?
Search Engine Academy Texas President Beth Kahlich was recently featured in a great industry whitepaper on Local Search – Goodbye Right Rail, sponsored by our friends at Yext.
If you’re looking for the latest industry opinions in an important facet of local search – it’s definitely worth a read!
Did you know about the BIG change in the Google search results? You’d only notice it if you happened to be searching on your desktop or laptop, not your smartphone.
Google has now removed their AdWords advertising from the right side (the “right rail”) of the desktop search results. Additionally, they have now snuck in 4 paid ads that appear at the top of most search results, before you even get to the local listings or organic results.
There’s been lots of buzz in the industry about how this affects results for our clients – even if they are using AdWords or not.
Beth was asked by Yext to give her 2 cents about how the big change had affected her clients – so with a little tongue in cheek, she submitted “How My Client Increased Bookings After Being Suspended from AdWords”.
Banned from AdWords and getting more clients? How is that possible? Click here for Beth’s full article, or better yet follow the link below for the full whitepaper from Yext.
Ten industry experts weighed in this new development for Google’s Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). So it’s a great opportunity to see how the industry is viewing this big change in digital marketing. And most importantly – how it can affect your future strategies.
